The Dales Festival of Food and Drink is an annual event that takes place at Leyburn in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. There are over 80 stalls selling local produce including Wensleydale Cheese, as well as locally brewed beers. The event lasts three days over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and the grounds are open between 10am and 5pm. The Dales Festival of Food and Drink was established in 2002 and attracts a crowd of around 14,000 visitors. In addition to the food stalls in the Food Hall there is also a Theatre Marquee and live music shows.
