The 17th-century inn looks a little dated and some guests felt that it could be updated to suit modern times. The staircase is steep and the interiors have an old world charm to them.
Minor issues like stained carpet, stuck windows or leftover plaster in the bathroom are reported, however such minor issues did not affect the overall stay at The George & Dragon Inn.
Some guests felt that the room above the bar maybe a little noisy due to noise from the bar and main street.
