Most guests at the hotel were complimentary when it came to the cleanliness of the rooms. The linen is kept fresh, the en-suites are free from dirt and no area, no matter how minor, is seemingly overlooked when it comes to keeping the rooms clean.
The Blue Bell Lodge has an expansive on-site car park, which means you shouldn’t have any trouble in acquiring a space for your transportation. Better yet, the parking is provided free of charge.
One of the biggest complaints aimed at the Blue Bell Lodge is that the rooms are tired and need updating. In addition, the rooms have also been branded as basic by some, with a lack of furnishings and amenities.
Although some previous guests mentioned that their beds were adequate, others complained that their sleeping arrangement was far from comfortable. The mattresses have been described as too soft and lumpy.
Something that has been brought up on occasion by past guests is that the rooms are not necessarily noise-free. The soundproofing issues were accentuated in some instances due to a noisy fan/generator being outside certain rooms.
