This visitor centre lies on the route of the long distance walk, The Cleveland Way and includes an exhibition on the North York Moors National Park that tells the story of the geology, geography and natural history of the area. Facilities include tea rooms and toilets that are fully equipped for disabled visitors. The opening hours are: Daily from 10am until 5pm from April to October From 10.30am until 3.30pm during November, December and march From 10.30am until 3.30pm at weekends only during January and February. There is a car park and a viewpoint as well as a wildlife watch area located at the centre. Admission to the centre is free.
