The people that work here go the extra mile to make sure that you are happy. They extend a warm welcome and will even try to remember your name. It's a very nice feeling to be made feel welcome by the locals in such a small village.
The full English breakfast served in this village pub is cooked to perfection and sets you up nicely for the day. There's more than enough to satisfy, and if you don't fancy the cooked breakfast, then you can have porridge or even some lovely pastries.
The menu is let down by the odd item here and there that doesn't live up to the standard set by the restaurant. There's no doubt that overall the food is delicious, but it is rather annoying to find that some simple items aren't cooked properly.
