Coral Reef (Bracknell, United Kingdom)

Coral Reef is a water fun park located on the southern side of Bracknell. This indoor water park offers a choice of swimming pools, three water slides of varying speeds, water rapids, snake river flume and an ‘erupting volcano’. There is also a pirate ship with water cannon and, for younger children, a rain cloud, choice of toddler pools and a beach area. The park is suited to swimmers of any level, though the faster slides do not allow children in arm bands or buoyancy aids, while the slower slide allows children to be accompanied by an adult. Sauna World has a choice of two saunas, a saunarium and Japanese steam room and offers a ‘ladies only’ morning on Fridays. There is also a gym room. There is a restaurant, ‘Coconut Grove’, and snacks are also available in vending machines. Changing rooms also offer some family rooms. Coral Reef can also be hired for private functions and kids’ birthday parties. Opening times vary considerably with school or public holidays, and by the day of the week, but typically Coral Reef opens at 06.30am for adult swimming, followed by lessons at 09.30. The other pools and slides open at 10.30 until 7pm, with adult swimming continuing until 9.45pm. It is easily accessibly by public transport or, for people coming by car, there is free parking.
