Considering this hotel’s central location and lovely surroundings, not to mention the amenities in the guest rooms and mid-ranged price point, you really get a lot for your money.

Dial House charges for breakfast which can be a bit off-putting. But the food is good and the portions are large so you might as well eat here as anyplace else you’ll find close by.

Unfortunately, the hotel has no bar to speak of. Luckily there are several pubs and bars just down the road, where you can wet your whistle.

Although the hotel says they are renovating slowly-but-surely, many of the guest rooms look a bit dated and tired. Be sure to ask for a recently renovated room if this is important to you.
