The Swan, East Ilsley is a family run historic coaching in the North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty. Parts of the building date back to the Tudor period and the site is believed to be older. Its current tenants first came to the village of East Ilsley in 2001 and have been running The Swan for 12 Years. All five letting rooms are en-suite, have television, wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. There are no ground floor rooms and unfortunately no lift. There is ample free car parking. The village of East Ilsley is a small village and is a five minute drive from Harwell Campus and ten minutes from Milton Park. Didcot Station is fifteen minute drive and regular trains take 45 minutes to London, Paddington. Likewise London Heathrow is 45 minutes away by car. Collection and onward transport can be arranged. For walkers and riders The Ridgeway national trail runs past the village on it's way to Avebury westwards and east, to it's Thames crossing where it enters the Chiltern Hills The historic City of Oxford can be reached by road in a very short time and likewise the beautiful market towns of Marlborough and Hungerford.
