Farnham Castle, in Surrey was built by Henry of Blois, Bishop of Winchester, during the first half of the 12th century. The Castle and grounds are managed by the English Heritage and are open to the public between April and September. Although adult fees are GBP 2.50, reduced entrance costs are available for children. There are no food and drink facilities, but the Castle is situated very close to Farnham Town centre for these amenities. Please also be advised that the area is not suited to wheelchair users as the keep is only accessible by uneven slopes.
