Gara Varna (Varna, Bulgaria)

The train station at Varna is located right in the centre of the town of Varna. It is situated near to the Port of Varna and South Beach. It was opened in 1925 and is one of the oldest Bulgarian stations. The architects Nikola Kostov and Kiril Marichkov designed the main part of the building with help from Italian architects. The construction of the station lasted three decades and the complex was finally completed in 1952. Today it has the status of an architectural monument of local importance. During the period 2004 -2005 the station’s building were renovated. The train station includes a waiting room, ticket boxes, a centre for advance sales, café, public Internet centre, news-stand and florist, tourist information offices and administrative offices. Close to the station there are bus stops where you can catch a bus to the city’s neighbourhoods and also to the resorts of St. Konstantin and Golden Sands. The opening hours are every day of the week from 6:00 am to 10:00 PM.
