The State Puppet Theatre of Varna is located in the city centre and has been working for 55 years. During the years, the theatre has showed over 250 production and over 20 000 performances both for adults and children. The theatre has a hall with 200 seats. The theatre employs 14 actors, some of them are well known from TV and radio shows. The State Puppet Theatre of Varna has gained many prizes over the years, one of them is the “Golden Dolphin”. In the theatre’s building is also located the Museum of Dolls, which is the only one in the Balkans and one of few in Europe. The visitors can see in it over 300 theatrical puppets. In the last years the building of Puppet Theatre also hosts the Festival “Golden Dolphin”. Working hours: Friday 7pm Saturday and Sunday: lunch time.
