City and County Building (Denver, USA)

The Denver City and County Building is also known as City Hall. It is located in the center of the city and faces the State Capital building on opposite ends of Civic Center Park. The building has the offices of the Mayor of Denver as well as the city’s administration offices and the city and county courts. There are no tours but the public is allowed to wander the halls. As it is a Civil Building certain parts are open different hours apply for different parts of the building. General lobby hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding governmentally recognized holidays. The building was constructed in 1932 and was designed by a coalition of some 39 local architects.
