Located in central downtown, The Curtis a Doubletree Hotel in Denver is a boutique hotel with easy access to all places of interest in the city. The hotel attracts tourists with its atmosphere of fun and a pop culture besides being in a prime location. Guests have options for dining, shopping and entertainment all within walking distance of the hotel. The museum of Contemporary Art is a 13-minute walk from it. The Colorado Convention Center is a block away and the 16th Street Mall is two blocks from the hotel.

The rooms and suites are contemporary and have individual design. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and iPod docks. Some rooms have small fridges while some have views of mountains or city. Suites have additional living areas with sofa beds and a bar area.

The hotel is equipped for meetings and events with a business center and 15 meeting rooms on site. The decor of the hotel is one of a kind, creating a fun filled atmosphere. The lobby has cartoons playing and a Five & Dime with treats. A store on site sells retro toys, candy and games. A Starbucks Coffee shop is present on site. A fitness center for workouts is also featured. The restaurant serves American based and international cuisine. It includes a martini bar. Wi-Fi can be freely accessed in the rooms and other areas of the hotel.

The beds in the rooms are infested with bugs and guests have to suffer bug bites. Room service is not efficient.

Most of the amenities carry a charge like microwave, bottled water and parking. Even breakfast is not complimentary. Guests feel that the hotel is overpriced.

Staff is not helpful with queries of guests and does not offer guidance on the use of the key for room, elevator or parking. Elevators do not have air conditioning.
