Copper Mountain Ski Area (Copper Mountain, USA)

Copper Mountain was started in 1971 and has grown from 280 acres at the base to 2,433 acres and is now one of the premier ski areas in the State of Colorado. It is the largest ski area in Summit County (Vail is in Eagle County, Aspen Complex is in Pitkin County). Copper Mountain is a year round resort with biking and golf in the summer and all the skiing, snow boarding and snowshoeing in the winter. Lift tickets start at $172 for two days at the window, however if purchased online the tickets are $150 for two days.
