The Craven Arms is a traditional inn and restaurant located just off the A65 road in Settle. It is ten miles away from Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Rooms are simply decorated with artwork done by local artisans. They are equipped with flat screen satellite televisions and tea/ coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms have hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary. Pets are allowed for extra charges. There is a garden, a terrace and a lounge with a library. Dry cleaning and laundry service is offered. Many activities like hiking, cycling and golfing that can be taken up by the guests. Kids can play around in the playground. Complimentary breakfast is served. Adults can have a good time at the Craven Arm’s beer garden. A restaurant/pub close by serves local cuisine. The Craven Arms is three minutes’ walk from Giggleswick railway station, and the local organic farm at Far Cappleside is only three miles away.

Guests loved the clean, comfortable and cosy rooms decorated in a traditional English way. Rooms have extra central heating making it warm and nice. In fact, the entire inn was very well maintained. Everyone in the hotel, right from the owner to the staff was very welcoming and courteous. They were always ready to lend a helping hand and were ever smiling.
Food served in the inn was very tasty and well-presented. The prompt and quick service was the icing on the cake. The menu had a lot of options to choose from with some great selection of wines too. Guests were more than happy to have their pets stay with them.
Wi-Fi connection was very fast and good which enabled the guests to work comfortably and stay connected. Most of the guests felt that the overall stay in this inn with all the basic amenities and cleanliness was worth the amount paid.
The Check-in time was 5 pm which the guests felt was a bit too late. This was especially troublesome for guests who had travelled a lot and wanted to rest after checking in quickly. They felt that it would be great if the Check-in time was shifted to a more convenient time like noon or earlier.
The noise from the road right next to the inn was very disturbing for the guests, especially when they opened the windows.
Most of the guests felt that the walls of the rooms were not adequately soundproofed or very thin indeed as they could hear the guests in the nearby rooms talking and snoring.
