There were many comments in recent years about the tired state of the rooms and the hotel in general but after some recent upgrade work, guests have been impressed. They found that now the rooms are in great condition and very comfortable.
The employees at this hotel will go to great lengths to help you out no matter what your issue might be. They are professional and friendly in equal measure and extend the loveliest of welcomes so that you feel welcome for the moment that you arrive.
This hotel is perfectly situated in town as it is only a short drive from the train station and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. This is a great place for people that are in Newport Pagnell or Milton Keynes on business.
The local pub below the hotel is a popular place for locals and as such you will find that it is busy most nights. This means that if your room is nearby, then you may be kept awake. There is also a smoking area, and the smell can drift into the rooms.
The rooms are a little more modern, but guests are still a bit bothered as they found the accommodation far too cramped for the money paid. This is an old building though, and it's difficult to change the room layouts.
