St John’s Shopping Centre is Liverpool’s largest indoor shopping centre and it is also its oldest, having been established in 1969. Outside the complex is St John’s Market, which dates back to 1822. It contains over 100 different retailers and covers an area of 33,445 square metres. There are parking spaces for 621 cars. The complex is fully non-smoking and fully equipped for wheelchair and pushchair users with lifts to the upper levels. There are also 12 dedicated parking spaces for disabled visitors and fully equipped toilets. St John’s Shopping Centre is open daily from 9am until 5.30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday), from 9am until 6.30pm on Thursday and from 10am until 5pm Sunday.
