Hotel Barcelona City North (Barcelona, Spain)

This location is a bit off of the beaten path where you'll be able to find goods and meals for a better value than in the more over-priced areas of the city.

Even though the rooms are quite simple, you'll find that they are equipped with everything that you'll need for a short stay in Barcelona. Guests were especially happy about the air conditioning, Wi-Fi and mini refrigerators within the rooms.

While you might think that quiet means a "dead", think again. The area is pleasant, with locals going out and enjoying their evening. Yet, unlike other popular areas of Barcelona, these locals do not like to stay out until sunrise.

There have been complaints, from very few guests, about amenities such as air conditioning and kitchen appliances not working for several days. If you find that your appliances are not functioning, do inform the staff who are known for being very friendly.

Previous guests have commented that the staff are only in the building when they are checking in and out guests or serving breakfast. If you feel that you'd like a 24-hour front desk then this hostal might not be for you.

Many guests were surprised that the check-in desk closed at 8 PM. If you plan on arriving after that time, do arrange with the management so that you can get your room.
