Hotel DingDong Putxet (Barcelona, Spain)

This hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood away from the tourist areas but it's still close enough to access everything including the city centre, restaurants, shops, attractions and various services.  Metro and bus stations are also and allow guests easy access to various parts of the city.

The guest rooms are cleaned frequently and are cleaned well.  Guests also reported that everything they needed for a comfortable stay was available, the beds are comfortable, the furnishings are new and there's ample space to move around.

Staff members at this hotel are very friendly and provide guests with a warm welcome. All staff from start to finish are helpful and accommodating.  Guests reported that most staff members can speak English well, they have no problem helping with directions and they are quick to resolve any issues that arise.

The combination of very thin walls noise coming from other rooms and the street outside makes for a sleepless night.  Guests reported that noise comes from various sources including loud parties in other rooms, people talking loudly in other rooms and corridors and loud footsteps of people coming and going in the stairwell at all hours of the night.

Although free Wi-Fi is available to guests, the service is very unreliable.  Guests reported that it's a struggle to get it connected and once it is, it's drops service frequently.

Guests reported that although there is supposed to be air-conditioning in the rooms, it doesn't work and it's always hot and stuffy inside the rooms which also have a lack of windows to allow fresh air to circulate.
