Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (Milan, Italy)

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a 4 story arched glass roofed shopping arcade designed and built by Giuseppe Mengoni in the 19th century. The roof also has a dome made of glass and a mosaic floor. It’s name is taken from King Vitorrio Emanuelle 11, Italy’s first king, who was on the throne when the shopping centre first opened to the public in 1877.
