Hotel Serhs Rivoli Rambla (Barcelona, Spain)

Guests found Serhs Rivoli Rambla’s location great, with the myriad attractions of Las Ramblas ready to sample just outside, and a huge array of tourist sites, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hop-on, hop-off buses and Plaza Catalunya’s public transport links were also found to be conveniently close.

The rooms were considered clean, comfortable and some, very spacious, while the public areas were enjoyed, especially the rooftop terrace overlooking Las Ramblas.

A good continental breakfast buffet was enjoyed by many, with cooked eggs also on offer, however a few were unhappy with the fare or not having the price the meal included in their room rate.

While guests generally found the staff to be friendly and happy to give helpful tips on the city, others found the staff service unprofessional and lacklustre., with occasionally poor English at reception.

Although the rooms at Serhs Rivoli Rambla do have double-glazed windows, there is still the possibility of some late-night noise from Las Ramblas coming through, so perhaps request an internally-facing room if you are a very light sleeper.

A few guests mentioned that their rooms were small, showing a little wear and tear, and especially thought the furniture to be dated. However, most were fine with simply using it as a base and were not too worried.
