This is a non-smoking property which is great if you don’t imbibe and like your accommodations smelling fresh rather than like stale, second-hand smoke.

This great little B&B delivers a personal kind of service you won’t find in chain hotels. The owners are happy to accommodate most any request and point you in the direction of popular local sights and places to dine. And they can easily regale you with the history of this lovely old house and much of Oxford.

The guest rooms at Parklands are spacious, clean and well-appointed. The comfy beds ensure a good night’s sleep and the views of Oxford from the guest room windows are charming.

Parklands serves breakfast only and there is no restaurant on property. The hotel does have a Bar/Lounge which offers garden seating but if you want a proper meal, try the Rose and Crown Pub located nearby.

This B&B does not allow pets, other than service animals, which is unfortunate for those who like to travel with their favourite canine companions.

Although most of the guest rooms at this hotel are quiet, those facing the front of the property are subject to noise from the road. So if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, be sure to book a room at the rear of the property.
