Situated in the depths of the Monadhliath Mountains on the edge of Tomatin village, the Glenan Lodge guest house and B&B offers seven charming suites in a lovely Scottish country setting. The lodge is located just minutes away from Inverness, and close to the famed Loch Ness. Glenan Lodge’s seven rooms all feature en-suite bathrooms, televisions, central heating, and coffee/tea makers. Their new Superior Double suite offers a 26” flat-screen TV, king-size bed, a sofa and coffee table, and brand-new luxury bathroom. The lodge is pleased to offer its guests free Wi-Fi throughout (including the rooms), a lovely entrance hall, a dining area with bar, complimentary breakfast, parking, and a guest lounge with television. Guests of the lodge can enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast, and after an evening meal be sure to sample their selection of Highland single malt whiskies in the small bar area. Evening meals have to be reserved in advance. Tomatin is a few minutes’ drive from the lodge, and has attractions like the Tomatin Distillery Visitor Centre. Also located nearby are Culloden Battlefield and Cawdor Castle.

Guests raved about how wonderful and fresh the breakfast was at Glenan Lodge, a traditional Scottish meal typical of local restaurants and pubs. The guest lounge area with television is great for relaxing or having a drink from the small licensed bar.

Because of its out-of-the-way location, some guests commented that it was hard to find the guest house, especially is using the small lane up to the B&B. Guests and the owners recommend taking the route that goes through the Tomatin Distillery.
A few guests complained that the lodge’s rooms were thin-walled, allowing noises from neighbouring rooms to be heard by other guests.
