This visitors centre provides information on the history of the Caledonian Canal from when it was first built up to the present day. A computer shows local cycle/walk ways and other local amenities. The center is free to enter and has disabled access and a gift shop. It is open all week from Easter to the end of October from 9.30am until 5.30pm, but is closed 1 hour for lunch.
