The on-site café serves a basic continental breakfast, and also light meals from the early afternoon till late. There are also numerous restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and budgets. The main area attraction, the immense stretch of beach, can be accessed about three miles from Hotel Flora Parc, while guests can board trains for a day-trip to Barcelona a short distance from the hotel.
While the hotel is certainly not right on the beach, it is in the city of Castelldefels. A couple of guests mentioned that its beach is immense, and certainly much better than anything they could find in nearby Barcelona. In fact they recommended staying in Castelldefels and doing daytrips into Barcelona when necessary.
Whatever else they thought of the hotel, no guest seemed to think it offered poor value. On the contrary many were simply flabbergasted by what they considered a very low room-rate for a hotel with decent access to the beach, airport and Barcelona.
Guests were happy to report that their interactions with the staff were typically excellent. English language skills were said to be OK, and many guests mentioned that individual staff members went above and beyond on occasion to hep them out.
While reviews of the food itself were mixed, with some liking it and others saying it was repetitive, there were a number of guests who said that it was served only limited hours. They would have liked longer hours to accommodate different national, and personal, preferences.
