The staff was found to be great — friendly and helpful — while the hostel seems to be well managed and organized and the price for staying there was thought to be very good.
Many appreciated the free Spanish breakfast included, and others were happy to be able to use a well-equipped kitchen to cook for themselves (using ingredients from nearby supermarket), even if it did occasionally get a little too busy.
A few of those who stayed were a little bit disappointed at not being in the city centre, but most were happy to use public transport given the cheaper prices at Pere Tarrés.
It seems that at the time of writing in mid-2015, the free Wi-fi was only available in public areas, although staff mentioned there are plans to extend this to the bedrooms.
You may find, as a few other guests have done, that the dormitory rooms can get a little cramped once you fit in eight people and all of their luggage.
