Riverside Arts Market (Jacksonville, USA)

The Riverside Arts Market in Jacksonville is located quite literally beneath the Fuller Warren Bridge, where Interstate 95 crosses the St. John’s River. The market opened on the north bank of the river in 2008 and provides a venue for a wide range of goods and services–including seasonal farm produce (including organic produce), prepared food items (such as bread, cakes and jams), handmade craft items, plants, and a variety of meals and beverages. As many as 160 vendors can be accommodated. Entertainment is also part of the package–including musicans, jugglers, and acrobats. Other features include a landscaped amphitheater for special events and activities, as well as supervised children’s play areas. Riverside Arts Market is open every Saturday from March to December. No admission is charged, and parking is also free. Hours of operation are from 10 AM to 4 PM.
