Given the prices - which are really very cheap; rooms are surprisingly well decorated and equipped. Plus, beds are super comfortable. If there is a problem, staff members get it sorted in double quick time.

Parking for cars, buses and trucks is free. It's easy to forget how much you might be paying elsewhere, where the tariff is also far more expensive.

Rooms are spacious and the bathroom especially so. Where's the mini-fridge? There isn't one! Instead, it's a full size piece of equipment and a real gem, particularly for self-catering guests.

They don't eat hotel food, use the bathroom, or complain to the front desk; so, really pets don't cost the hotel anything. Not so long ago, this hotel seemed to agree + pets stayed free. Not anymore. Now they pay. They pay another fee to go on the nearby Dog Wood Park*Rover! Go and growl at that man on the front desk. Where's your free breakfast?!

There's no-one supervising security through the night. This is the time when some guests and outsiders indulge in drinking - and other activities - that become noisier as the night wears on. There's no control and the potential consequences are worrying.

Air conditioning doesn't work and there's no battery in the smoke detector. There's no thorough cleaning in the rooms. This results in some areas being missed, time after time. Floors are dirty, so is the tub. The only appeal in the rooms is for cockroaches.
