National Coach Museum (Lisbon, Portugal)

Das Nationale Kutschenmuseum befindet sich in der ehemaligen königlichen Reithalle, die zum Palast von Belém gehörte. Sie wurde 1904 zum Museum umgebaut, dessen Ausstellungsflächen 1940 erweitert wurden. Das Museum besitzt eine der weltgrößten Sammlungen an königlichen Fuhrwerken, darunter Kutschen, Berlinen, Equipagen, Kaleschen, Kabrioletts, Sänften und Kinderwägen. Das Museum soll den Besuchern auch den technischen Fortschritt und auch die unterschiedlichen Vorlieben in Bezug auf Verziehrungen zwischen dem 17. und 19. Jahrhundert deutlich machen. Weitere Ausstellungsgegenstände sind Pferdegeschirre, Gespanne, Sättel, Trompeten, Waffen und Gala-Uniformen. Auch Ölgemälde mit Portaits der Monarchen sind vorhanden. Öffnungszeiten: Dienstag bis Sonntag: 10-18 Uhr, montags geschlossen. Zum Museum fahren die Buslinien: 14, 27, 28, 29, 43, 49, 51
