During the high season, Cornwall is ‘very’ busy with parking problems similar to those in London’s West End. What a relief then, to find a super hotel with the added bonus of off road parking!
They’re sub standard and uncomfortable. At the tariffs charged, they are easily replaced via a trip to the local supermarket and without busting the budget. Then everyone can sleep easily.
There are 23 steps up to the front door. With no assistance with luggage, it’s an inconvenience for many and a complete ‘no-no’ for some.
There’s no ring of confidence as you try to muster some attention at reception. The same applies in the bar where you also have to ring for service. Goodness knows how much bar business they’re letting slip through their fingers.
