With the beaches of Gorran Haven just minutes away through the narrow lanes of this typical Cornish fishing village, and coastal walks, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Mevagissey nearby, guests found the hotel to be well located for coastal exploration.
Guests have found the rooms at The Llawnroc very spacious, clean and luxurious, while the Playstations were a nice touch and the hotel patio was also much appreciated.
Chances are you will find the hotel team to be very welcoming, with the staff members always appearing to be cheerful and ready to help.
According to some guests, the meals served in the hotel bistro have unfortunately proved to be disappointing for the price, with limited choice on offer.
Given the tendency for rooms to get fairly warm in the beach season, a few people have had the bad luck to experience problems with the air conditioning.
Be aware that you may not have any mobile connectivity while staying at The Llawnroc, so make sure you have no important calls coming, or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
