The full English breakfast was loved by all the guests. Homemade American Style pancakes and fresh fruits were a favourite amongst everyone. The portions were quite filling and tasty. The bar also serves other delicious meals and has a very good ambience.
Rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Beds are comfortable. Guests liked the free view television. The tea/coffee making equipment was very handy. The hosts and staff members were more than welcoming and courteous. They had a very helpful attitude.
The hotel is well situated with just a few minutes' walk to the beach and modes of local transport. The Sandown Pier is close by with street of cafes and souvenir shops. Guests loved visiting the historic Isle of Wight. There was ample parking space for all the guests to comfortably park their vehicles.
Few guests felt that the bathrooms were like small cubicles making it very difficult to take a shower. Moreover, having a sink in the bed room was awkward. A shower mat would have minimized the risks of a fall.
A water pipe running on top of the window was very noisy with the gurgling water making it very difficult for guests to have a sound sleep. Guests felt that it was a very inconvenient place to have a water pipe.
Even though the rooms were clean, few guests felt that the dark fawn coloured paint on the bedroom walls were very dull making it look very gloomy.
