Overlooking the Irish Sea with an enviable positon on Blackpool’s promenade, the Fame is a simple hotel choice that offers recently renovated rooms and a complimentary breakfast. The accommodation is ideally situated between the Central and South Piers. All of the en-suite rooms at the Fame feature central heating, tea/coffee making facilities and flat-screen Freeview television. Some of the rooms at the hotel also boast wonderful sea views. For a relaxing drink or a game of pool, the hotel has a cosy bar and lounge area. Limited off-road parking spaces are provided, while Wi-Fi is accessible for a daily surcharge. Breakfast is served every morning in the hotel’s dining room. Along with providing a buffet breakfast in the mornings, evening meals are also available upon request. The Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark are ten minutes away on foot from the hotel. Blackpool Tower is a 20-minute walk.
The Fame's location was often considered its greatest aspect by former guests. Along with its position on the promenade, the hotel is situated between the South and Central Piers - making it an ideal base for walking to most Blackpool attractions such as the Pleasure Beach, Winter Gardens and Blackpool Tower.
The breakfast, according to the feedback of most previous visitors, was a nice feature of the hotel. Served in a buffet style, the breakfast was often described as varied and cooked to a high standard.
