Located in the coastal town of Cleethorpes, the Comat is a four-star guesthouse with six rooms. It is 12 miles away from the Port of Immingham. The owners of the guesthouse and each and every member of the hotel staff is very friendly and went out of their way to extend a warm welcome to the guests. They made all the guests feel at home not just on the first day but throughout their stay.
Bedroom is very well-equipped with all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. Guests with kids were really touched by the small gesture of keeping children's books in the twin bedded area. Bathrooms are very modern, provided with complimentary shampoo and shower gel. The carpet throughout the room was very plush making it very cosy for the feet.
Guests loved the full English breakfast served here. It had a wide range of options to choose from. The guesthouse is less than five minutes' walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and promenade, where the guests could eat or shop at leisure.
Some of the guests took a long time to take a shower as the water pressure was very low. It was very time consuming due to the water going down to a trickle at times.
Few guests who wanted to check their e-mails were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi connection as very patchy and kept disconnecting time and again.
The net curtains are too thin to stop the sun rays early in the morning due to which some of the guests could not sleep for a long time. They would have preferred thicker curtains to filter out the sunlight.
