Dating from 1948 the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a narrow gauge railway that operates between Kingsway Station, adjacent to the leisure centre, along Cleethorpes seafront to North Sea Lane Station at the mouth of Buck Beck. This is a distance of just over one-mile. Originally owned and operated by North Lincolnshire District Council the railway is now privately owned. A lottery grant in 2006 enabled the track to be expanded and a bridge to be built over the boating lake. Prices are: Adult Half Line £2.40 (single), £2.90 (return) Child Half Line £2.00 (single), £2.40 (return) Adult Full Line £3.30 (single), £3.80 (return) Child Full Line £2.90 (single), £3.30 (return) Family Full Line (2 Adults + 2 Children) - £11.00 Adult Day Rover (unlimited travel on Issue Date - £8.00 Child Day Rover (unlimited travel on Issue Date) - £7.00 The railway operates daily throughout the summer months but only at weekend during the winter.
