Guests have complimented on the high standard of food offered. Food is cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. They were also satisfied with the decent portions served.

The high point of this hotel is its helpful and efficient staff. In one instance, the manager readily came down to help at midnight, when one of the rooms refused to open. Guests loved to return to the warm atmosphere of the hotel at the end of an active day. Guests felt that they were always treated as valued customers.

Guests found the rooms to be spacious with comfortable beds. Though basic in decor, they have found the rooms and carpets to be generally clean. Some guests loved the orangery at the rear side of the hotel as well as its beauty at night.

There are no lifts in the hotel, and the differently abled guests find it difficult to reach the rooms as they are not on the ground floor. The stairs also have no handrails.

The hotel is close to two busy roads. Consequently the rooms are noisy and this disrupts sleep. Guests felt that one room positioned just above the entrance is better to be avoided. Every time the door opens or closes, the banging sound is loud and disturbing. They recommend sound proof windows for the rooms.

The thermostat of the radiator was broken and the rooms were getting overheated as a result. Some guests also felt that the shower curtains needed to be replaced.
