Hotel Tahitian Beach Resort (Treasure Island, USA)

Conveniently affordable and located right on the beach, this is a clean, no frills hotel where you can bring Fido, too. Enjoy the spacious patio area with swings, shuffle board and other games, outdoor grills and plenty of seating. There is a pool on-site as well as a kiddie pool, for those who prefer to stay out of the ocean. This spot is within easy walking distance to plenty of attractions including John's Pass, a pier which offers seafood dining, jet ski rentals, deep sea fishing expeditions, shops and boat rides.

Various types of rooms, all clean with comfortable beds and decent amenities. Even large groups are accommodated here with advance notice. Some rooms have kitchen areas attached and a choice of beach, pool and garden/courtyard views. Gas grills are available for cooking right outside your door. Good soundproofing keeps noise from traveling through walls/windows. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi work well - and you won't want to miss the beach side sunset.

Excellent staff from front desk to housekeeping will surely make your stay as comfortable as possible. Several are often mentioned by name by previous guests, drawing attention to their friendly nature and extra efficient work - kudos to them all!

Some felt their accommodations missed the mark, not resembling the website description/photos. The kitchen appliances may be smaller than anticipated, rooms have older decor than expected and storage areas might be insufficient for belongings. In some cases, this can be resolved by asking to see the room prior to check-in.

Some complained their room was left very dirty with roaches crawling around.

Sometimes there isn't enough room in the parking area, so you may need to park across the street.
