The warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff welcomes you at check-in and is there for you for the duration of your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and point you in the direction of local eateries and entertainments.

There’s no lift.

Stratton House does not have a lift. So if you have low mobility, lots of luggage or are travelling with small children in tow, it would be best to book a ground floor room.

Although this property is fairly quiet, the main road does run right in front of the hotel, which could keep you up at night. If you are looking for an undisturbed night’s sleep, ask for a room away from the road when you check in.
