Hello, my name is James and along with Joao, we will be your hosts. We would be delighted to welcome you onboard our floating boutique hotel, the ‘Double Infinity’ Motor Yacht and provide you with any help, recommendations or support you may need during your stay. ‘Double Infinity’ is used as a deluxe Bed and Breakfast and is a great place to place to stay near the wonderful locations of La Sagrada Familia, Barrio Gotico, Montjuic hill and Tibidabo hill. If you’re looking for a cheap stay at Barcelona, surrounded by Modernist buildings and a vibrant range of cultural attractions, this is the place for you! There are currently 3 cabins available which all have their own private bathroom and are air-conditioned/heated. The spacious decks, cockpits, flybridge and shaded resting areas provide ample communal space for relaxing in. There is a wide range of modern conveniences available on board for your entertainment. You may choose a DVD from our large film library, listen to your favourite music or check your emails on our free wireless Internet. The VIP Cabin is spacious and the largest of all cabins aboard, with 1 large king bed and a sofa suitable for 1 child up to 12 years of age. Guests have private access to their room and to all the communal places onboard. There are a number of common areas which offer plenty of room for socializing and dining. Beach towels are provided for sunbathing and we offer a complimentary breakfast. Our Continental Style Breakfast consists of fresh breads, toast, cheeses, meats, jams, honey, yogurts and fresh fruits, served with fruit juices, teas and coffee. Other meals are available on request. The marina at Port Forum has a good security profile. Vehicle access is controlled, the marina is patrolled 24/7 by mobile vehicle, foot and sea patrols. Additionally, access to each pier is controlled by a security card. A laundry service and parking space for cars are also available. Port Forum Marina is part of the Parc del Forum Barcelona. In the heart of the Diagonal Mar District near Forum Square, the second largest esplanade in the world after Tiananmen in China, Barcelona’s Port Forum Marina offers the perfect combination of beach and attractive urban environment. In the summer, there are concerts and shows in the square such as the Magic Fountain show Barcelona and swimming pools with real or artificial seawater and, throughout the year, the many shops along Diagonal Avenue gather together thousands of visitors. The 20,000 m2 complex encompasses the Diagonal Mar shopping center (200 shops and 45 restaurants), an international congress centre, offices, and a natural science museum with permanent and temporary exhibitions of plant and animal life. Other notable attractions include the FC Barcelona museum, Camp Nou stadium, Park Guell by Gaudi, and the Picasso Museum. There are many cafes, tapas bars and restaurants in the harbour, catering for all tastes, making it a pleasant spot to relax in and enjoy. Some of the more notable are El Raco del Mariner (specializing in local seafood), Tomaka, Port Nautic, Suau and Café del Mar (the most prestigious brand in the world in creating Beach Clubs). The beautiful Playa de Sant Adria Beach is five minutes’ walk from the marina. The beach is cleaned daily, the water is crystal clear and free beach showers and public toilets are available. Jetski and electric bikes are also available to rent, with special rates for guests aboard ‘Double Infinity’. From July to the end of September 'Las Golondrinas' boat tours are available from the marina. The boat tours are a great way to see the Barcelona skyline and beautiful beaches. The tour ends up at the main port in the heart of Barcelona right next to the Plaza de Colon (Christopher Columbus Monument) where the city's main artery - Las Ramblas, starts. Access to central Barcelona is by metro, tram or taxi. The metro is a 15 min casual walk from the yacht. The yacht stays docked at Pier D in Port Forum Marina at all times and is not used for charter. We live on the boat, so we are able to welcome you on arrival, make sure you are comfortable and provide assistance and information during your stay.
