The reception and attached gift shop are open around the clock, so late check is no problem. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including the rooms. Feel free to bring your best friend, since Hotel Maya del Centro - Adults Only is pet friendly. There are great local dining options right outside along famous “Fifth Avenue”. The gorgeous beach, just steps away, is of course the main attraction, but those interested in diving will not want to miss a trip to Cozumel and its excellent coral sites. This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about this property. They mentioned that the location would be hard to beat, since it was very close to both the beach, just a minute or two on foot, and pretty much right on Playa del Carmen's famous “Fifth Avenue”, where they had all the shopping, restaurants and nightlife they could possibly want.

Too many guests to mention stated in their reviews that the staff here were not only friendly and accommodating, but really seemed to try very hard to make sure their guests had all they needed for a great holiday.
Quite a number of guests pointed out that the Wi-Fi does not really seem to reach all areas of the hotel. It seems there is only one router by reception, so most guests had to make sure they were in this area when trying to connect.
Guests reported that the great central location did not come without a price to pay. The street immediately outside was said to be very loud at night with bars, revellers and general noise sometimes resulting in guests having difficulty sleeping.
While most guests did not really go into the precise reasons, too many to mention remarked that the breakfast served at the hotel was very disappointing. They seemed to feel that eating at a nearby café would result in a much better start to their day.
