Wonderful views will mesmerise you. The ships passing by is a lovely view. The conservatory where breakfast is served has great views as well. The landscape is simply brilliant. Even if your room is overlooking the conservatory, you still have fantastic views of the ocean.
Breakfast at this hotel could easily compete with a five-star facility. You have to try the tasty homemade sloppy Joe, or the well cooked pudding, potatoes, vegetables, and the beef. The dining area is nice as well.
There is plenty of parking, so you won't have to be concerned about that; however, it would be great if the hotel reserved parking spaces for visitors near the hotel entrance. It just makes it easier to bring your luggage to and from your vehicle.
The hotel used to have a more comfy, homelike ambiance. It was a place you would look forward to relax and really feel like it's a home away from home. Now the place feels more like a roughed-up spot. There are no soft cushy chairs. They are more like chairs for students. It's become a stopover place for salesman and the like.
The hotel décor could use some updating. It's outdated, colours are not impressive, and the overall look is not inspiring. You may find the bar is somewhat overpriced too. Then again, this can be a matter of taste.
It seems a bit petty (on the hotel's part), but they charge you extra for additional sugar, tea bags, and milk. It appears that it would be a common courtesy to include these small things as a form of hospitality or simply have it included in the price.
