Good for a drink.

The bar area at Kings Court is really nice and has a good mix of guests and locals, which leads to a really great ambience. They have a wide choice of drinks and you can take your dog in there if you bring it with you.

Great rooms.

Guestrooms are very well-appointed and are a really decent size. You'll find the bed to be comfortable and really clean. You'll have access to the courtyard area directly from your room too.

The hotel is in a great location for getting to the likes of Alecester and Stratford-Upon-Avon. If you want to discover Shakespeare-land, then this is an ideal place form which to do it.

You'll hear some sounds.

The walls at Kings Court are quite thin, so you might be disturbed by noises coming from adjacent rooms and above. Also you might hear taxis pulling up outside.

Bathroom problems.

The showers here don't have the best water pressure. The water is more of a dribble than a jet because the shower heads are quite small, restricting the flow of water.

An update is needed.

Some of the décor is rather tired, in both the guestrooms and the lounge area. A bit of a spruce up, while being sympathetic to the hotel's history, wouldn't go amiss.
