Warwick Castle (Warwick, United Kingdom)

The history of Warwick Castle is reputed to date back to the daughter of Alfred the Great in 914. It was seized by Simon de Montfort and ultimately became the home of the Earls of Warwick. It was opened to the public and was taken into the Tussaud Group in 1978. The castle itself has exhibitions of arms and armour, furniture and artefacts. In the grounds is a conservatory, the peacock garden and the Victorian rose garden. There are demonstrations of birds of prey and medieval war engines. The castle also lays on character dining.
