Free parking is available nearby and the apartments are smoke free. A coffee shop is found on site, and restaurants, bars and Morrisons, Tesco and Marks & Spencer supermarkets are found within a short walk. Those who stayed at Inverness City Suites said the apartments put them in a perfect location for exploring the downtown areas. In particular, they said it was close to the Inverness Train Station, handy to plenty of downtown shopping, and equally good for accessing some nice walks along the Ness River.
The apartments reportedly gave guests plenty of room to spread out, came with comfy beds, were very clean, and even had double glazing to keep the central city noise out of the bedrooms. Furthermore, they are apparently very modern and come with everything you could need, like an iPod dock, large flat-screen TV, washing facilities and plenty of supplies for making hot drinks on hand.
A number of guests thought the apartment offered good value all round, especially with free, secure parking available on site and the possibility to cook for yourself — people were happy to find full kitchen facilities in each apartment and a handful of supermarkets are said to be located within a short walk.
The only real issues guests mentioned after staying at Inverness City Suites was that there were no elevators and that the floors could be rather squeaky. The former caught a few guests unaware, especially with three stories of stairs to climb, but the latter was not considered to be a serious problem.
