Superb staff.

Staff at the hotel was superb and were always happy to offer their services. The massage in the spa was refreshing and relaxing. Staff members were happy to recommend places to visit and things to do while in the area.

Great location.

You will have a quiet, relaxing stay and be pleased with the hotel being closely located to the motorways and busy roads. If you want to take a stroll in the countryside, this is the hotel for you. Nice weekend retreat.

You will find your room comfortable and cosy during your stay. The staff is very friendly and will make sure your stay is all that you expected. There are several eateries within walking distance of the hotel.

Over worked staff.

Some guests have reported that even though the staff tried hard, they struggled to keep up with an anniversary party plus a full hotel of guests. The food was adequate but the restaurant was full to its capacity.

You will find that the rooms are spacious however; the rugs are old and shabby in appearance. Some guests reported that the bathrooms had a moldy smell to them. Under the chairs was a fine layer of dust.

Guests have reported that the food was overpriced and mediocre at it’s best.. The rooms were cluttered and the bed was too springy. For the amount that was paid, this hotel did not meet the modern-looking standards that are advertised.
