Hedley House is a 2-star hotel located in central York, close to historical monuments and the transportation network. Built in 1845 and purchased by its current owners in 1984, this family-run accommodation still retains some of the original features such as fireplaces in the rooms. Two different types of accommodation are offered: 26 standard hotel rooms distributed over the main building and the annex and self-catering apartments located nearby. Each of the guestrooms is air-conditioned with en-suite facilities, wide screen TV with DVD player and movies on demand, direct dial telephone and hospitality tray. The apartments have full equipment including refrigerators and electric cookers. Limited number of parking spaces is provided, but pets are not allowed.
