The warm, friendly staff welcomes you at check-in and makes you feel right at home . They are knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer in the way of restaurants, local attractions and evening entertainment and are happy to accommodate most any request.
It's great that The Gilpin Bridge Inn welcomes pets because so many people like to travel with their favourite canine companions. The Inn even has doggie treats on hand for Fido and there are lots of lovely walks to be had in the neighbourhood.
All of the guest rooms here are non-smoking which suits those who don't imbibe, just fine. It's nice to know that you won't be accosted by the acrid smell of stale, second hand smoke in your room.
The walls and ceilings at The Gilpin Bridge Inn are rather thin which means that you can hear conversations from the rooms that surround you and footsteps from your overhead neighbours. Your best bet for a quiet stay is to choose a corner room on a top floor.
There is no lift here. So if you have trouble with stairs or have small children or a lot of luggage in tow, be sure to ask for ground floor accommodations.
The guest rooms here are rather small which could be problematic if you need extra room to manoeuvre or are travelling with more than one person.
