The Cross Keys is in Milnthorpe and just outside the English Lake District. All the rooms are non-smoking and en-suite with some of them having small sitting areas. For food and drink, there's a bar and restaurant on-site, which tries using local ingredients whenever possible. There is a free breakfast provided for staying guests. Many guests like the location of this hotel, especially when it came to visiting the Lake District. It's close to other areas that nature lovers can enjoy. Most of these locations are within a 15 to 20 minute drive from the hotel.
Most guests enjoyed their meals and beverages here. From breakfast to dinner, the visitors had wonderful things to say about the bar and the restaurant on-site. Drink selections and large breakfasts were the big winners with most travellers here.
Although most visitors remarked that they really love the staff, a few people had issues. The criticisms range from rude front desk service to booking misunderstandings. For the most part though, these incidents are sporadic at best.
