The 290 ha large park offers walking paths with a combined length of 60 kilometre. Within the park you can find a wealth of historical buildings from various eras.This includes the famous Sanssouci Palace ("Without worries"), formerly the summer residence and favourite castle of Frederick the Great, the New Palace, the Orangerie of Frederick William IV., a historic mill where the flour for the pastry chefs of the palace was produced, the New Chambers, Charlottenhof Palace and more.The park itself is home to a wealth of exotical plants, a vineyard and orchards.The entry to the park itself is free but there might be admission fees for the various buildings and sights within it. Being one of the Parks and Palaces of Potsdam and Berlin, Sanssouci Park has been appointed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990.
