The hotel design is very stylish and practical. Rooms are wonderfully clean, beds are comfy, and rooms are flawlessly soundproofed. The overall design is fantastic. The look is avantgarde, coupled with functionality, and a vibrant freshness.
The location is great with easy access to a part of history. Part of the Berlin Wall is right behind the hotel. The Gedenksatte Berliner Mauer nearby, five-minutes from the Berlin main station, offers two movies about the history of the wall if you are interested in that sort of thing. The Hackechter Market is ten-minutes away and Sunday flea markets are within easy reach. If hunger hits you while you are out, the Alexanderplatz is a great area to stop and have a quick bite to eat and people watch.
Breakfast is superb with just about everything you could imagine in a perfect setting. If you like eggs, be sure to try the delicious omelettes.
It seems like the staff and the hotel are mismatched. The hotel has high-class standards but the staff has no idea how to implement them!
You have to enter the Wi-Fi password each time you use your device, which is nothing less than annoying. Not only that, the login process is multi-step over several pages.
The view ruins a fabulous hotel, as the views are crappy. Looking at a parking lot and white wall seven floors high is not an impressive sight. So don't expect a beautiful landscape with or views of a moon lit sky.
