The Gedenksatte Berliner Mauer nearby, five-minutes from the Berlin main station, offers two movies about the history of the wall if you are interested in that sort of thing. If hunger hits you while you are out, the Alexanderplatz is a great area to stop and have a quick bite to eat and people watch.
